DO YOU WANT TO BE WEALTHY?

Your wealth lies in an unseen place, with God. Jesus says, ”Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven” Matthew 6:19. If you trust Him, you will be wealthy beyond all measure. Many people believe and act upon the biblical principles of tithing and giving offerings, yet they never seem to be able to leave what we call land even. Though their basic needs are met, they are living from paycheck to paycheck. They never get ahead; they just break even. They live little lives and miss the joy-filled, fruitful, peaceful, and abundant life that God has for them. God’s word clearly teaches that He desires for us to live in the land of plenty Deuteronomy 8:7-9.
God brought the Israelites out of the land of lack through the land of even and into the land of plenty. He wanted every one of us to live in abundance. In our generation, only a few people enter into the best God have provided for through Jesus Christ, while the majority barely get by and have no joy or peace. They struggle and struggle, hearing about the better land but not understanding why they cannot take up residence there. We need to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and then all the other things will be added unto us Matthew 6:33. Remember that God has abundance for you, and determine to live the good life that God prearranged for you to live Ephesians 2:10. Apart from God, we are powerless and nothing. Our joy and peace must be in Him and our abilities are the results of His grace. Study Deuteronomy 8:17.  Remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth! Seek God’s presence not His presents. Keep God first in your life and you will be amazed at what He will do for you.

Finding God’s Comfort in the Midst of Hopelessness

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
Psalm 27:4 One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
Psalm 34:8 Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe.
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Romans 8:38-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 Corinthians 13:12 Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Ephesians 3:17-19 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Times of suffering and trials are a part of everyone’s life. Is this a time of suffering in your life? Ask God to surround you with His comfort and help you experience it in tangible ways as I did it this morning. He is able to comfort you no matter what the trial. Although it may not help right now, know that someday you will be able to comfort someone else as God comforts you.God has a way for us to do everything He places in our hearts. He does not put dreams and visions in us to frustrate us. We must keep our confidence in God all the way through to the very end, not just for a little bit and then give up when it looks as though the mountain is too big! It is untold what people can do–even people who do not appear to be to do anything. God does not usually call people who are capable; if He did, He would not get the glory. He frequently chooses those who, in the natural, feel as if they are in completely over their heads but who are ready to stand up on the inside and take bold steps of faith as they receive direction from God. When our desires seem overwhelming big and we do not see the way to accomplish them, we should remember that even though we do not know the way we know the Waymaker! Know your weaknesses and know God; know His strength and faithfulness. Remember that He is able to do ”superabundantly, far over and above” everything you could ever dare to ask or think! Have you ever been disappointed, hurt, or mistreated? Have you had changes in your life or are you experiencing loss of some kind? Have you failed in some way? Are you just simply tired? What is your trouble today? If you don’t know what to do in any specific situation, look to God. He has the answers, you just have to ask for them. God will allow people to do only a certain amount for us, and no more. Even those people who are extremely close to us cannot give us everything we need all the time. When we expect others to do for us what only God can do, we have our expectations in the wrong place, and we will always be disappointed. No comfort is as good as God’s. People can never give us what we really need unless God Himself uses other people to reach us, which He often does. Whether He uses another person to comfort you or He comforts you Himself by the Holy Spirit, let’s remind ourselves that He is the Comforter. Ask for and receive His comfort whenever you need it.

God forgives us, Who am I not to forgive?

Forgiveness for me is letting go of the need for revenge and releasing negative thoughts of bitterness and grudges. To forgive is really to remember that each of us says things we wish we had never said; that we can all forget that love is more important than being right. To forgive is to set yourself free, to acknowledge that it does no good to hate. Hate really destroys both the other person and yourself. That realization is what I think taught me about forgiveness, and so I try my best to live by it. I think forgiveness is an aspect of our humanity. I suggest you to pray and read passages that offer biblical guidance on forgiveness and how important it is to forgive others as we have been forgiven by the blood of  Jesus Christ. When I’m upset and hurt by others, the passages below helps me a lot to easily forgive them.
Colossians 3:13 Be gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive].
Mark 11:25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
 Psalm 32: 1 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is he who has forgiveness of his transgression continually exercised upon him, whose sin is covered.
 Psalm 32:5 I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord [continually unfolding the past till all is told]–then You [instantly] forgave me the guilt and iniquity of my sin.
Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Proverbs 19:11 Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense
Romans 12:20 To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.”

I love what the Bible says on forgiveness. Add your own favorite in the  comment box. Let’s forgive and love one another. May God bless us all! And remember, ”Always be the first to forgive; and forgive yourself first always.”

Pure- hearted and Powerful

God is seeking people who are pure in heart ( see Matthew 5:8) A person who has a pure heart, who is wholeheartedly serving God, is truly powerful. In Psalm 51:6, It tells us that having a pure heart means  having truth in our ” inner being” which is who we really are deep in our hearts. Having a pure heart starts with paying attention to our thoughts, because from our thoughts come our words, our emotions, our attitudes, and our motives.

It took me a long time to realize that God will not bless actions that are done out of wrong motives or an impure heart.

Purity of heart is not a natural trait; in most of us, it is something we must work on. First Thessalonians 4:3 teaches us to desire and work toward purity of heart because that is God’s will. This is a challenge that every believer should be excited about accepting, but we do not have to face it alone.

God has created us to be dependent upon Him, to bring Him our challenge and allow Him to help us with them. Only He knows what is in our hearts, and He is an expert at removing the worthless things from us while retaining the valuable.

There is a price to pay to have a pure heart, but there is also a reward. We do not have to be afraid to make the commitment to allow God to do a deep purifying work in us. We may not always feel comfortable about the truth He brings us, but if we do our part- facing it, accepting it, and allowing it to change us-He will make sure that we are blessed.

Knowing Suffering Can Be Knowing Truth

In my life I have found one simple thing that rings true. Without pain and suffering there is no growth. You cannot help others if you’ve never experienced anything yourself. This is why Jesus wandered  in the desert to be tested. Why did He die a horrible painful death? It was to show us the truth. Like so many of you, I have been searching for the truth. Rummaging through the rubble of contradiction and beneath the ruins of my own experiences. I was tossed about on the raging sea of confusion and turmoil for so very long. What is the truth? The TRUTH is…  you can’t get to or appreciate the good times without going through the bad. If you’d never been through trials that seemed to beat you down repeatedly how can you truly say you understand someone else’s situation? How would you be able to give them Christ‘s message? The bottom line is, You couldn’t!

Giving Thanks In The Midst Of Circumstances

”Jesus nothing compares to this grace that rescues me,  Savior now and forever your face is all I seek. ”

Where are you in your journey right now? Are you in the middle of a trial? Maybe you’ve been obedient to walk the difficult paths the Lord presented you. Maybe you’ve even laid down your life for those God sent your way. Maybe those very paths and the people you’ve loved are the source of your pain. You wonder why your obedience seems to have been rewarded with pain. Like these men of God, Paul and Silas exercised the power of joy in the midst of very difficult circumstances. Their clothes were torn off, they were beaten with rods and thrown into jail, and yet they did nothing wrong. They expressed a supernatural joy evidenced by their praying and singing.

The act of thanksgiving and praise opens impossible doors and shakes loose all chains. Sometimes we find ourselves constrained by our circumstances. Don’t be afraid when that happens. Perhaps the reason is so that you can be a blessing to those around you. In acts 16, we sometimes forget that Paul and Silas were not the only ones freed from prison. All the prisoners’ chains were shaken loose. The keeper of the prison himself gave his life to Jesus Christ. The one who was responsible for holding all of these men in bondage repented and came to Christ because Paul and Silas did not ever fail to give thanks. That is the power of gratitude and thanksgiving to God our Heavenly Father. As a result of seeing firsthand and supernatural joy of Paul and Silas, the jailer was saved. see Acts 16:27-34. Keep giving thanks.

He is big enough to deliver you from your circumstances and to do a great work through you. I believe more people in the world will receive salvation that waits for them when we truly begin to express the joy of their salvation.We all go through things in this life and sometimes trials are unbearable. We have the promises of God always being there for each one of us. The Bible is full of God’s promises, and those are His words. We can use His Words to get out of sticky situation. We need to have open hearts. God’s Word and our hearts will affirm truth to us when we hear truth. Our minds may be closed, but our hearts must be open to God to allow Him to do new things in our lives.

Upon reading Acts 16, I realized that meeting God in the middle of the pain is exactly what made me who I am in Him today. I am better off having experienced God in the darkness than if I never had the tears. That is what gives me hope during the valleys of pain that come my way. May all of us who are presently in a dark place hold steady to God’s goodness. In every situation we are in, we need to give thanks to the Lord. Let our hearts be filled with worship and our minds set on praising the Lord. If you are sick and you know of a friend who is sick also, pray for them.

You will find so much joy in seeing your prayer answered, as you believe when you pray and see your friend regaining strength and health to his body. If you see someone struggling to make ends meet, maybe that extra loaf of bread in your freezer is the key they need to see that the Lord is still looking out and providing for them. Dear fellows, go to your prayer room where it is just you and God. Pray and stay in prayer until you have found the Lord. Seek His face while there is still time. Darkness is upon the earth and the enemy is looking and hunting down the weak vessels. Seek the Lord while He can still be found! Do not wait until it is too late. Before the Lord can come for all He has appointed and chosen, repentance must come.

Hamon Ng Buhay

Noong ako’y bata, bobo’t walang alam;
Buhay ay masalimuot sa tiyan na kumakalam,
Ama’y napariwara, ina ay nagdamdam,
Kaya kinalabasan,pamilyang naparam.

Tatlong magkakapatid, nagkahiwa-hiwalay;
Minsan lang magkita, mga puso’y nalulumbay
Pinilit kumita, sinikap mabuhay,
Tinitiis lupit at hagupit ng buhay.

Ako’y lumaki sa piling ni lolo;
Inang sumasakabilang buhay ang sabi’y ganyan ang buhay ,
Kirot ng damdamin pilit itinatago;
Pamilyang inaasam di man lang nagkatotoo.

Kami’y nakisama sa iba’t-ibang tao;
Ama, inang nawala di ko na tanto,
Dasal ang syang tanging sandigan ko,
Bihirang magkita, sabik na totoo

Di ko na pansin,pagpunit ng dahon
Sa kalendaryo, ito ay naging hamon
Palibhasa ako ay hinog sa panahon,
Ngayon heto ako, nagsisikap umahon.

Sana naibigan tulang nilikha ko;
Ninais ihugis sa inyong mga puso
Anumang pagsubok kaloob sa inyo
Wag na wag po sana kayo ay sumuko.
