HUMBLE YOURSELF TO THE LORD

      PSALM 34:1-22

1.  I WILL BLESS THE LORD AT ALL TIMES: HIS PRAISE SHALL CONTINUALLY BE IN MY MOUTH.
2.  MY SOUL SHALL MAKE HER BOAST IN THE LORD: THE HUMBLE SHALL HEAR THEREOF, AND BE GLAD.
3.  O MAGNIFY THE LORD WITH ME, AND LET US EXALT HIS NAME TOGETHER.
4.  I SOUGHT THE LORD, AND HE HEARD ME, AND DELIVERED ME FROM ALL MY FEARS.
5.  THEY LOOKED UNTO HIM, AND WERE LIGHTENED: AND THEIR FACES WERE NOT ASHAMED.
6 . THIS POOR MAN CRIED, AND THE LORD HEARD HIM, AND SAVED HIM OUT OF ALL HIS TROUBLES.
7 . THE ANGEL OF THE LORD ENCAMPETH ROUND ABOUT THEM THAT FEAR HIM, AND DELIVERETH THEM.
8 . O TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD: BLESSED IS THE MAN THAT TRUSTETH IN HIM.
9 . O FEAR THE LORD, YE HIS SAINTS: FOR THERE IS NO WANT TO THEM THAT FEAR HIM.
10. THE YOUNG LIONS DO LACK, AND SUFFER HUNGER: BUT THEY THAT SEEK THE LORD SHALL NOT WANT ANY GOOD THING.
11. COME, YE CHILDREN, HEARKEN UNTO ME: I WILL TEACH YOU THE FEAR OF THE LORD.
12 .WHAT MAN IS HE THAT DESIRETH LIFE, AND LOVETH MANY DAYS, THAT HE MAY SEE GOOD?
13. KEEP THY TONGUE FROM EVIL, AND THY LIPS FROM SPEAKING GUILE.
14. DEPART FROM EVIL, AND DO GOOD; SEEK PEACE, AND PURSUE IT.
15. THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE UPON THE RIGHTEOUS, AND HIS EARS ARE OPEN UNTO THEIR CRY.
16. THE FACE OF THE LORD IS AGAINST THEM THAT DO EVIL, TO CUT OFF THE REMEMBRANCE OF THEM FROM THE EARTH.
17. THE RIGHTEOUS CRY, AND THE LORD HEARETH, AND DELIVERETH THEM OUT OF ALL THEIR TROUBLES.
18. THE LORD IS NIGH UNTO THEM THAT ARE OF A BROKEN HEART; AND SAVETH SUCH AS BE OF A CONTRITE SPIRIT.
19. MANY ARE THE AFFLICTIONS OF THE RIGHTEOUS: BUT THE LORD DELIVERETH HIM OUT OF THEM ALL.
20. HE KEEPETH ALL HIS BONES: NOT ONE OF THEM IS BROKEN.
21. EVIL SHALL SLAY THE WICKED: AND THEY THAT HATE THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL BE DESOLATE.
22. THE LORD REDEEMETH THE SOUL OF HIS SERVANTS: AND NONE OF THEM THAT TRUST IN HIM SHALL BE DESOLATE.
It is not natural for a person to be humble. Nobody is humble from his birth. But a humble person is not the same as a weak person. A humble person can have great authority and strength. Also, a humble person understands his life. He understands himself. We see this in the way that he behaves towards other people. The humble man is not proud of himself. He does not think that he is the most important person. He knows that he is poor in spirit. This is not something to be proud about! The humble man does not think about himself and his interests continuously. He does not make excuses for himself all the time. When we are really humble, we do not need to worry. We trust God with everything, now and in the future. We do not do anything to people who have hurt us. We learn to do what Paul did. He allowed God to look after him. Hebrews 10:30: ‘I am the one who will punish’, says the Lord.
Matthew 5:5 promises that humble people will receive everything.
”Admit your weakness, God will add strength. The Lord doesn’t like arrogance but he will empower the humble.”
♀Have a wonderful day  beautiful soldiers of God, Lets love one another with humbleness in our hearts♀

You Are Wonderful

There’s nothing wrong with pursuing success, or the power to influence society and the world around us. But it’s wrong to pursue success in a way which cuts yourself off from yourself or in a way which isolates you from other people because you view them simply as obstacles and competitors. When we compare ourselves to others, we only diminish ourselves and our own possibilities. We can instead focus on own unique and beautiful selves, and we can revel in the fabric of our shared humanity.
Life is not a competition. Don’t compare yourself to others. Other people are not our standard. Your journey is different from mine, and our journeys are different from that of any other person. It’s all too easy to spend much of our time keeping track of what other people are up to and finding ourselves wanting. Failing, even. Stop comparing yourself to others. Instead, begin to discover what’s truly important to you. You have more time and energy to devote to your own creative journey, feel FAR better about yourself, be able to be inspired by others’ work rather than dragged down by it.
One of the dangers of comparing ourselves with others is that it can lead to jealousy and envy- two  negative attitudes that are detestable in God‘s sight. Scripture says: ” Let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other or trying to be something we aren’t. Romans 12:6 If we will concentrate on becoming who God created us to be, instead of who we think we ought to be or who someone else wants us to be, we will experience a sense of peace and security that will enable us to resist focusing on what those around us are doing.
You are unique! God is fitting you for a purpose like no one else’s. Cooperate with Him and His plans for you, and you can rightfully declare as King David did. ” The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me” Psalm 138:8
