Day 40 – A picture of you on a plane

Flying For A New Life

Destination unknown

Ready to soar through the sky of blue

And yes, I’m flying alone

And there I met this girl, we get along.

 

Buckled in – nerves on edge

Listening to the jet engines whine

Woozy with expectation

Leaving the world far behind.

I’m off – to a new adventure

To sunny skies, white sand and surf

Where we land I don’t care

I’m for anywhere – seeking for flare.

Hoping for better life  for a better future

Past baggage and emotional strife

I’m smiling, I’m content, I’m hopeful

Looking forward to a new life.
