No weapon formed against me shall prosper!

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD.

~*~My understanding to this verse is God uses every situation for His great purpose to those who love Him. The rest of the verse means  that we will have justice against what others say. So even if  evil things is set before you, God is there to protect you! And everything will turn out in your favor.~*~

Quitters never win! (Pat’s prose challenge)

Quitters never win! When people say winners never quit, it really means not giving up on your ultimate goal, whether it is financial freedom, time freedom or anything you really want in life. If you fall down don’t quit! Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Don’t quit in hard times, get back up, dust yourself off, Just keep praying and going. Because the one who is within you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Day 27 – A picture of your favorite day

I can’t say I have a favorite day. What makes a day special to me is that I wake up and know that my family is fine. So I don’t really have a favorite day, but any day could be one. For instance, I could say a Sunday has always been my favorite day of the week. More specifically, Sunday morning has always been the favorite part of my day.  Besides church and free time, what really makes my Sunday great is spending time with family and friends. This by far is the greatest thing to do.

On any day God is with me each and every day of the week just as much as He is with me on Sundays. He is with me when I’m doing my daily errands  just as much as He is with me when I’m blogging. I make sure that I talk to God first before I start to write. I’m never out His presence. I need daily moments of prayer and reflection. I love God’s word. Also, I love Sunday! God sometimes uses it to restore my soul as He leads me to green pastures and still waters. But I guess right now every day is my favorite day because I’m still alive.

What about you? What is your favorite day of the week? And why?

Lord We Need You

Eternal God, whose mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your Holy Will, which is love and mercy itself. Father God, Help my dear friend Kimmy. Help her dog Harley to fight and win her battle against her illness. Give her the strength she needs to gain back her life and joy. She has such a nice joy for Kimmy. Please take away her sickness and pain. Give her strength and health Lord. She needs it, She deserves her peace and to be without pain. Help her to get better or make it painless for her… and Kimmy. May everything we do, begin with your inspiration, continue with your help, and reach perfection under your guidance. I ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your son, who lives, and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. From all my heart I thank You Oh Lord. Amen.

Learn about God by observing His creation

Deuteronomy 10:14 Look around you: Everything you see is God‘s—the heavens above and beyond, the Earth, and everything on it.

“The whole earth is a living icon of the face of God. I do not worship matter. I worship the Creator of matter who became matter for my sake, who willed to take His abode in matter, who worked out my salvation through matter. Never will I cease honoring the matter which wrought my salvation! I honor it, but not as God. Because of this I salute all remaining matter with reverence, because God has filled it with his grace and power. Through it my salvation has come to me.” — St. John of Damascus (675-749)

Day 18 – A picture of you dressed up

Going to Church :-)

We all know that it is always the heart God is looking at, rather than the exterior. However, what we wear to worship our holy, pure God may be an indication of where our hearts are.

1Tim 2:9 Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments,

1 Peter 3:3-4 Your adornment must not be merely external braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; 4 but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.

If you have never considered it before, ask yourself, Does it matter to me how I look when I am going to worship the King of Kings and Lordof Lords? More importantly, does it matter to Him? We must all be the judge of that for ourselves. It’s a personal choice, keeping in mind that having a proper attitude toward God Himself is important preparation for worshiping at church. Je vous aime tous, au revoir pour l’instant et vous-dieu bénisse 😉

This Day With God

After reading Nehemiah 12, one point taken from the study is that those that minister to us are focused on being a blessing so we should make sure they are always blessed in abundance. Another point taken is that we should celebrate God’s presence and favor. We should give a shout to the Lord today for nothing can compare to the worth of God’s promise. Here’s a video to jump start your day: Shout to the Lord – Chris Tomlin.

This day with God will be amazing if we sincerely believe that each obstacle will be overcome and enthusiastically act upon each task until completion; celebrating progress throughout each day with praise.

Abiding in the Presence of God

Psalm 91:1-16

91 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler[a]
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”

Day 9 – A talent of yours

Nah! When I first read the title of this post, it made me a little uncomfortable, I didn’t want to appear egotistical and I was also struggling to think so something I am talented at. This one is a tough one sick.  In general I don’t feel particularly talented at anything.  A friend of mine often calls herself a “jack of all trades, master of none.”  I kind of feel the same.  I have many hobbies, and many things I enjoy doing, but don’t really feel I’ve mastered any of them. I’m decent at most things I try, but it takes a lot of discipline to really cultivate a talent.

When I was younger winking ,  I remember people telling me I was talented in certain areas, but I can’t come up with ANYTHING.  So, I’ll share with you the things that people compliment me most about. People say that I am pretty talented when it comes to writing songs and poems, I am awesome at making speeches, hahaha ansabeh? AWESOME silly that is really funny.

But I see myself as an understanding person and can easily relate to others, Hmmm teka talent ba yon? hehehe dibale padayon  cheer😉 Hmm…  I’m a realist about things, I don’t expect grand things to happen left and right, I don’t expect life to be anything as it’s portrayed in the entertainment world. This makes all the little good things in life seem like pleasant surprises; I’m constantly being made happy by the simplest of things. I can also play basketball, I was athletic kunuhay back then.  don't tell anyone

I also like to sing. When I was younger, I used to sing in church and won several awards for the singing contest. Oh dabah?  applause Nakadaug ko kunuhay, pakapalan lang ng fez ang puhunan. Hehehe #Makatawa ko really! That experienced made me sick! Hahaha. silly

Yay! yes! Singing!!! P-A-G-K-A-N-T-A!  Siguro yon lang yong talent na alam kong magaling ako ngunit hindi ako kahanay sa mga birit queens sa mundo. 😉

I will always remember what my Mama, Lolo and Lola told me.

Everyone  studying it down.

God don’t like arrogant people.

-Don’t let success think your better than others.

-Remember to go back to your community and give, and teach others they too can set and achieve goals.

-Remember be nice to the people you pass on your way up, because you might need them on your way down.

-Be humble all the time.

– And most importantly give praises to God for what you have.

To end this story,  ” It is ok to accept the praises of people but don’t let your head get too big.  Don’t let your head get too big.”

thumbs up

Day 7 – A picture of somewhere you’d love to travel

If given a chance, I would love to go to God’s chosen land. I really want to be blessed to see the places where Jesus walked, preached and ministered.
