I Will Rise!

Psalm 27

~*~

The Lord is my light and my salvation—

    whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life—

    of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked advance against me

    to devour me,

it is my enemies and my foes

    who will stumble and fall.

Though an army besiege me,

    my heart will not fear;

though war break out against me,

    even then I will be confident.

One thing I ask from the Lord,

    this only do I seek:

that I may dwell in the house of the Lord

    all the days of my life,

to gaze on the beauty of the Lord

    and to seek him in his temple.

For in the day of trouble

    he will keep me safe in his dwelling;

he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent

    and set me high upon a rock.

Then my head will be exalted

    above the enemies who surround me;

at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy;

    I will sing and make music to the Lord.

Hear my voice when I call, Lord;

    be merciful to me and answer me.

My heart says of you, “Seek his face!”

    Your face, Lord, I will seek.

Do not hide your face from me,

    do not turn your servant away in anger;

    you have been my helper.

Do not reject me or forsake me,

    God my Savior.

Though my father and mother forsake me,

    the Lord will receive me.

Teach me your way, Lord;

    lead me in a straight path

    because of my oppressors.

Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,

    for false witnesses rise up against me,

    spouting malicious accusations.

I remain confident of this:

    I will see the goodness of the Lord

    in the land of the living.

Wait for the Lord;

    be strong and take heart

    and wait for the Lord.

It is as important to read the Word of God as it is to eat. Without this simple act, each day of our life would be incomplete. A day spent without reading His Word is truly a day wasted. No matter what you are going through or what you are facing, the Bible has a solution for you. The Bible is truly the answer for every need you may have.

Jeremiah  17:9 has taught me that our hearts are deceitful above all things. Self-deception is one of the easiest traps of the enemy that we can fall into. The self always help the self-get whatever it wants. When we have strong desire for something, we can easily deceive ourselves by telling ourselves whatever we want to hear. If my will want a thing, my mind will give me a variety of reasons I should have it and my emotions will certainly produce ample feelings that agree with my will’s wants. That’s what happening to me last few weeks which lead me to illness. I forgot the Word of God. I forgot His promise, but I believe that through this illness God is shaping me into a beautiful vessel, perfectly designed for the great purposes He has for my life.

When we manage our relationship with Christ, the Bible tells us that we become new creations. We become new spiritual clay for the Holy Spirit to work with. So I practice regular times of waiting in God’s presence, asking Him to reveal any impure motives that I might have. Praying against deception, for Satan is the great deceiver. Satan also seeks to lead us astray through reasoning that is contrary to the truth. So I hold my peace and remain at rest. God can easily lead the believer who is not frustrated and anxious. I learned to pray as David in Psalm 51 ‘’ Behold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart. The more you truly know God’s wisdom in your heart, the less likely you are to be deceived. ” Happy Sunday Everyone and May God Bless Us All.

This is what I am up to today. Studying the Word of God. Digging much deeper into my relationship with God through His Word. How about you? What are you up to?

Cry of the Broken

Psalm 94

94 O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage.

They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;

13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

14 For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

17 Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

18 When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.

19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

22 But the Lord is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off.

God is FAITHFUL to keep His PROMISES

Are you tired of waiting for God to do something for you?  I too struggle with waiting on God’s timing in different areas of  my life. Some days, it is a lot harder to be patient. When we’re bringing our concerns to the Lord again and again, we grow tired of waiting. It soon begins to feel like our prayers are falling on deaf ears. Often our desire is to take control and just “do the best we can”; it is our fleshly reaction to the silence. We know Galatians 5 lists patience as a fruit of the Holy Spirit so we confess our desire to rule our own lives. We ask the Spirit to fill us, empowering and directing us even as we continue to wait on the Lord.

When you begin to feel the pressure to quit, your attitude must be as the Psalmist David who wrote, ‘’ my soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved’’- Psalm 62:-5-6. Since all of your hope and expectation is from Him, determine now that you are willing to wait as long as it takes for His promises to manifest. When David says, ‘’ I shall not be moved’ ’ he is declaring: ‘’ I will not allow anything to discourage me nor distract me. I’ll keep on trusting Him until I see with my eyes the fulfillment of what He promised He would do.’’

Waiting is a common experience. All your brothers and sisters in faith, as well as all of creation know what it is like to wait on the Lord. Consider those who have waited before you: Job, David, a myriad of Prophets. There is plenty of encouragement in the Bible concerning a need for patience and those who have excelled in it. James 5:7, Colossians 1:10-12, Psalm 40:1 and Revelations 14:12 are just a few examples of the subject.

Never stop expecting God to fulfill what He said He would do. You and I can have confidence in God to fulfill His promises. Why would you want to give up if God is the one who promised it? Since God is not an ordinary man that He would lie ( see Numerous 23:19), and He has never  broken His word, then  why shouldn’t  we be willing to wait for Him to fulfill what He has said no matter how long it might take?

God is Faithful! Faithful means “true to one’s word. It carries the idea of being trustworthy, dependable, and reliable. Over and over in the Scriptures, God and His Word are both declared to be faithful. Count on Him, not on your own ability.

Let’s take a close look and meditate of these verses below:

1 King 8:56 ” There has not failed one word of all His good Promise.”

Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent:  hath he said, and shall he not do it?  Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

 Malachi 4:6 “I am the Lord. I change not . ”

Deuteronomy 7:9  “Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;”

Romans 4:20, 21 “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith [believing] giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised he was able also to perform.”

II Thessalonians 3:3 “But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil.”

I Corinthians 1:9  “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”

I Corinthians 10:13  “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:  but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape.”

God is still fulfilling His promises today in your life. Continue to stand in faith and proclaim His Word as you wait on our faithful God.

”God is faithful, Put your trust in Him and to His Promises alone.”

”Start believing , keep on waiting and start on praying  because God is moving.”

HUMBLE YOURSELF TO THE LORD

      PSALM 34:1-22

1.  I WILL BLESS THE LORD AT ALL TIMES: HIS PRAISE SHALL CONTINUALLY BE IN MY MOUTH.
2.  MY SOUL SHALL MAKE HER BOAST IN THE LORD: THE HUMBLE SHALL HEAR THEREOF, AND BE GLAD.
3.  O MAGNIFY THE LORD WITH ME, AND LET US EXALT HIS NAME TOGETHER.
4.  I SOUGHT THE LORD, AND HE HEARD ME, AND DELIVERED ME FROM ALL MY FEARS.
5.  THEY LOOKED UNTO HIM, AND WERE LIGHTENED: AND THEIR FACES WERE NOT ASHAMED.
6 . THIS POOR MAN CRIED, AND THE LORD HEARD HIM, AND SAVED HIM OUT OF ALL HIS TROUBLES.
7 . THE ANGEL OF THE LORD ENCAMPETH ROUND ABOUT THEM THAT FEAR HIM, AND DELIVERETH THEM.
8 . O TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD: BLESSED IS THE MAN THAT TRUSTETH IN HIM.
9 . O FEAR THE LORD, YE HIS SAINTS: FOR THERE IS NO WANT TO THEM THAT FEAR HIM.
10. THE YOUNG LIONS DO LACK, AND SUFFER HUNGER: BUT THEY THAT SEEK THE LORD SHALL NOT WANT ANY GOOD THING.
11. COME, YE CHILDREN, HEARKEN UNTO ME: I WILL TEACH YOU THE FEAR OF THE LORD.
12 .WHAT MAN IS HE THAT DESIRETH LIFE, AND LOVETH MANY DAYS, THAT HE MAY SEE GOOD?
13. KEEP THY TONGUE FROM EVIL, AND THY LIPS FROM SPEAKING GUILE.
14. DEPART FROM EVIL, AND DO GOOD; SEEK PEACE, AND PURSUE IT.
15. THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE UPON THE RIGHTEOUS, AND HIS EARS ARE OPEN UNTO THEIR CRY.
16. THE FACE OF THE LORD IS AGAINST THEM THAT DO EVIL, TO CUT OFF THE REMEMBRANCE OF THEM FROM THE EARTH.
17. THE RIGHTEOUS CRY, AND THE LORD HEARETH, AND DELIVERETH THEM OUT OF ALL THEIR TROUBLES.
18. THE LORD IS NIGH UNTO THEM THAT ARE OF A BROKEN HEART; AND SAVETH SUCH AS BE OF A CONTRITE SPIRIT.
19. MANY ARE THE AFFLICTIONS OF THE RIGHTEOUS: BUT THE LORD DELIVERETH HIM OUT OF THEM ALL.
20. HE KEEPETH ALL HIS BONES: NOT ONE OF THEM IS BROKEN.
21. EVIL SHALL SLAY THE WICKED: AND THEY THAT HATE THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL BE DESOLATE.
22. THE LORD REDEEMETH THE SOUL OF HIS SERVANTS: AND NONE OF THEM THAT TRUST IN HIM SHALL BE DESOLATE.
It is not natural for a person to be humble. Nobody is humble from his birth. But a humble person is not the same as a weak person. A humble person can have great authority and strength. Also, a humble person understands his life. He understands himself. We see this in the way that he behaves towards other people. The humble man is not proud of himself. He does not think that he is the most important person. He knows that he is poor in spirit. This is not something to be proud about! The humble man does not think about himself and his interests continuously. He does not make excuses for himself all the time. When we are really humble, we do not need to worry. We trust God with everything, now and in the future. We do not do anything to people who have hurt us. We learn to do what Paul did. He allowed God to look after him. Hebrews 10:30: ‘I am the one who will punish’, says the Lord.
Matthew 5:5 promises that humble people will receive everything.
”Admit your weakness, God will add strength. The Lord doesn’t like arrogance but he will empower the humble.”
♀Have a wonderful day  beautiful soldiers of God, Lets love one another with humbleness in our hearts♀
