Choose Your Seeds

Hosea 10:12

12 Sow for yourselves righteousness;
Reap in mercy;
Break up your fallow ground,

For it is time to seek the Lord,

Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.
Life is rewarding also challenging, We are learning lessons as we grow. Did you know that your life is like a seed and that you have the ability to produce fruit? How do we know that we are growing? God is given us the ability to produce spiritual fruit.  Letting go and allowing life to flow, life is like a seed! As believers, our seeds should be holy, pure, true, righteous, kind, loving, gentle, honest, peace and meek. Sadly, many of us have eaten from the fruit of deception and allowed our lives to produce seeds of wickedness,lies, rebellion and self-reliance. If you desire to plant seeds of righteousness so you can reap the fruit of unfailing love, break up unplowed ground, pull up the crops of the enemy and plant the seeds of God in your life through the Holy Spirit. If you plant it He will water it and bring forth an abundant harvest. Our harvest is determined by the seeds we sow. Ask guidance from God to sow for yourself according to righteousness and reap according to mercy and loving-kindness. Allow Him to break up the fallow ground in your heart, for it is time to seek Him, to inquire for and of Him, and to require His favour till He came and rain righteousness on you. If you sow the seed of God’s Word in the good ground of your heart by speaking it, it will produce your life.
What type of seeds have you been sowing? Is it seeds of righteousness or seeds of deception?

Anxious No More

Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to Godand the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The apostle Paul teaches us how to pray with thanksgiving in every circumstance. The Bible often commands us to avoid anxiety and fear. God tells us that He will supply for our every need. Even though we may not see the fruits of our faith immediately, we should always thank God, knowing He will bring them when the time is right. Jesus promised that ”He will supply all your needs in accordance with His riches” Philippians 4:19. Stop for a moment and imagine what the riches of God must look like☻. God has promised us the abundance of His riches! There is no need to  fear that these boundless blessings will ever run out. Offer your life to Him with thanksgiving! If we cannot offer our current prayer requests from the foundation of a life that is currently filled with thanksgiving, we will not get a favorable response. Don’t look down at the ground in discouragement, look up to heaven and praise Him for the great gifts He has promised you in the midst of your crisis. Stand on those everlasting promises. Then get up and go, believing and expecting that God will supply all your needs. The Word of the Lord does not instruct us to pray with complaining; it says to pray with thanksgiving. Philippians is very clear on this point, prayer and petition must be accompanied by thanksgiving.
