God’s Timing is Perfect!

Sometimes it is easy to think that we can do all things in our own, then we stumble, get frustrated and we feel like life seems falling apart. We forget to pray! Pray about it! Often times, we’ve prayed, fasted, explored countless options and feel helpless because of “unanswered” prayers, well maybe we’re lacking of faith. FAITH and PRAYER must come together. Matthew 17:20 ‘’He replied, “Because you have so little faith.  I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Whenever I read this verse, it brings me peace while I wait! I know that sooner or later God will reveal His purpose in my life. Let’s pray and have faith while waiting, for God’s TIMING is PERFECT!

Patience is not just the ability to wait; it is the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting. WAITING is part of life. Often times we do not wait well and yet, we just complain when all we need to do is pray, have faith and believe that God will work wondrous in our lives. Let’s be PRAYERFUL and seek to obey God. There is nothing God doesn’t already know. He knows our deepest desires, our joys, pain and hopes. And He wants us to share those with Him. Prayer is the ray that connects us with God.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Everyday Life

‘’ Fulfilling God‘s Purpose ‘’

I was living a life that’s filled with woe.

I was holding onto sin that I can’t let go.

Then Jesus beseeches but I said No!

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

 ~*~

Jesus Christ for me has died.

On the cross was crucified.

But I didn’t make up my mind.

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

 ~*~

How many glitches will arise?

Before you finally realize

God meant every word He said.

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

 ~*~

 In my sacred place I talk to Christ

I keep praying  on my own will sight

What massive gaffe do I have to yield?

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

 ~*~

Life on earth is very fast.

Opportunity will soon past.

Only what’s done for Christ will last.

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

~* ~

Until I realize I must give my all to Christ.

I said and pray ’’ Whatever you want Lord’’

Direct my steps and show me your way.

I saw His face smiling and said ”My child, follow my way”

I replied, I’ll take up my cross Lord and follow your purpose!

xoxo,

Prayer for Strength

Psalm 112

Praise the Lord.

Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
who find great delight in his commands.

Their children will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches are in their houses,
and their righteousness endures forever.
Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,
for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
who conduct their affairs with justice.

Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
they will be remembered forever.
They will have no fear of bad news;
their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;
in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.
They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,
their righteousness endures forever;
their horn will be lifted high in honor.

10 The wicked will see and be vexed,
they will gnash their teeth and waste away;
the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.

Someone That Makes Me Feel So Special

Yes, I am feeling happy and contentedly attached to the one who created me. Early this morning I meditated on His word  to  tell Him that I need His infinite compassion to awaken me from my slumbering life. I know my heart‘s cry will reach His palace,  My  prayer will knock at His heavenly door, He will open it and ask me what I need. When I meditate on His word, I empty my heart. When my heart is empty, my eternal father/friend comes in and sits on His throne inside the very depths of my heart. In the innermost recesses of my heart His life of infinite concern, compassion, love and blessings abide. My Eternal father/friend listens and fulfills my prayer. When I meditate, He comes in and fulfills my inner need. When I pray, I talk and He listens to me. When I meditate, He talks and I listen to Him. This is how we converse. My prayer and my meditation are of paramount importance in my life of aspiration, dedication and I surrender to the will of my Heavenly Father.

I need myself this moment to fulfill my countless, teeming desires. But when my desires are not fulfilled and when I realise that I do not have the capacity to fulfill them, I feel that I do not need this earthly existence. I want to discard this body-consciousness, for this body consciousness does not give me an iota of satisfaction. We work, we serve, we pray, we meditate each moment in conscious dedication, and the result of this dedication takes the outer form of either success or failure. But when we go deep within, we feel that there is no such thing as success or failure. We see everything as an experience that has come to us in the march of expansion. Finally, we realise that even this experience is not our dominion. It is actually God‘s aquaintance, for He is the doer, He is the action and He is the fruit thereof.

Regardless of our inability to remain faithful His love never lessens or waivers. I often take for granted God who is responsible for all good and great things. There have been people in my life that I have impacted in a positive way and ones that I have not. To the latter, I’m sorry. I find peace in God’s forgiveness of me even though I can’t always forgive myself. I am grateful that I strive to serve an understanding God.  I love and am thankful for the friends He has placed in my life. I can truly say that I have the world’s largest family. I know that in every Christian’s walk there are times we fall. Don’t get down on yourself. We all do it. Just know that God understands and can’t wait for you to get back up.

I am a sinner just like you. In God’s eyes I can only be described as a beautiful mess. I am not perfect or in any grand fashion do I resemble Christ, throughout my time as a Christian I wasn’t always one. Many time my actions, thoughts, words, and emotions have not represented the God that I proclaim to serve or love with every ounce of my being.  Many times I have forgotten what God has done for us. But  every time I am having a conversation with Him, I feel that He loves me infinitely more than I love myself. When sometimes fear, doubt, and anxiety assail my life of aspiration, when I cherish and treasure limitation, bondage, ignorance and death, My Heavenly Father, loves me still. I feel that I am great in His eyes. Either way, every time I turn around, God is still there watching over me as He watches over you.

Anxious No More

Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to Godand the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Image
The apostle Paul teaches us how to pray with thanksgiving in every circumstance. The Bible often commands us to avoid anxiety and fear. God tells us that He will supply for our every need. Even though we may not see the fruits of our faith immediately, we should always thank God, knowing He will bring them when the time is right. Jesus promised that ”He will supply all your needs in accordance with His riches” Philippians 4:19. Stop for a moment and imagine what the riches of God must look like☻. God has promised us the abundance of His riches! There is no need to  fear that these boundless blessings will ever run out. Offer your life to Him with thanksgiving! If we cannot offer our current prayer requests from the foundation of a life that is currently filled with thanksgiving, we will not get a favorable response. Don’t look down at the ground in discouragement, look up to heaven and praise Him for the great gifts He has promised you in the midst of your crisis. Stand on those everlasting promises. Then get up and go, believing and expecting that God will supply all your needs. The Word of the Lord does not instruct us to pray with complaining; it says to pray with thanksgiving. Philippians is very clear on this point, prayer and petition must be accompanied by thanksgiving.

Giving Thanks In The Midst Of Circumstances

”Jesus nothing compares to this grace that rescues me,  Savior now and forever your face is all I seek. ”

Where are you in your journey right now? Are you in the middle of a trial? Maybe you’ve been obedient to walk the difficult paths the Lord presented you. Maybe you’ve even laid down your life for those God sent your way. Maybe those very paths and the people you’ve loved are the source of your pain. You wonder why your obedience seems to have been rewarded with pain. Like these men of God, Paul and Silas exercised the power of joy in the midst of very difficult circumstances. Their clothes were torn off, they were beaten with rods and thrown into jail, and yet they did nothing wrong. They expressed a supernatural joy evidenced by their praying and singing.

The act of thanksgiving and praise opens impossible doors and shakes loose all chains. Sometimes we find ourselves constrained by our circumstances. Don’t be afraid when that happens. Perhaps the reason is so that you can be a blessing to those around you. In acts 16, we sometimes forget that Paul and Silas were not the only ones freed from prison. All the prisoners’ chains were shaken loose. The keeper of the prison himself gave his life to Jesus Christ. The one who was responsible for holding all of these men in bondage repented and came to Christ because Paul and Silas did not ever fail to give thanks. That is the power of gratitude and thanksgiving to God our Heavenly Father. As a result of seeing firsthand and supernatural joy of Paul and Silas, the jailer was saved. see Acts 16:27-34. Keep giving thanks.

He is big enough to deliver you from your circumstances and to do a great work through you. I believe more people in the world will receive salvation that waits for them when we truly begin to express the joy of their salvation.We all go through things in this life and sometimes trials are unbearable. We have the promises of God always being there for each one of us. The Bible is full of God’s promises, and those are His words. We can use His Words to get out of sticky situation. We need to have open hearts. God’s Word and our hearts will affirm truth to us when we hear truth. Our minds may be closed, but our hearts must be open to God to allow Him to do new things in our lives.

Upon reading Acts 16, I realized that meeting God in the middle of the pain is exactly what made me who I am in Him today. I am better off having experienced God in the darkness than if I never had the tears. That is what gives me hope during the valleys of pain that come my way. May all of us who are presently in a dark place hold steady to God’s goodness. In every situation we are in, we need to give thanks to the Lord. Let our hearts be filled with worship and our minds set on praising the Lord. If you are sick and you know of a friend who is sick also, pray for them.

You will find so much joy in seeing your prayer answered, as you believe when you pray and see your friend regaining strength and health to his body. If you see someone struggling to make ends meet, maybe that extra loaf of bread in your freezer is the key they need to see that the Lord is still looking out and providing for them. Dear fellows, go to your prayer room where it is just you and God. Pray and stay in prayer until you have found the Lord. Seek His face while there is still time. Darkness is upon the earth and the enemy is looking and hunting down the weak vessels. Seek the Lord while He can still be found! Do not wait until it is too late. Before the Lord can come for all He has appointed and chosen, repentance must come.
