“Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.” Isaiah 50:10.

Do you see weary people in the body of Christ? While the world has serious problems that can wear us down, we can experience joy from God, Who lifts us up. According to the Bible, the joy of the Lord is our strength. Take your stand on the Word of God. Become rooted and grounded, not in shame, discouragement and dishonor but in the LOVE of Christ, being complete in Him. Ask the Lord to work a healing in your mind, will and emotions. Let Him come in and fulfill what He came to do: Heal your broken heart, bind up your wounds, and give you beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, a garment of praise instead of heaviness and a double honor for a double shame.  Determine that from this moment on you are going to reject the roots of bitterness, shame, negativism, and perfectionism and nourish the roots of joy, peace love and power. God’s Word is filled with inherent power. When God speaks, powerful things take place. His Word never returns void; it always accomplishes its purpose. When we learn to speak God’s Word instead of rehearsing how we feel or declaring what we think, we are also releasing power. The Word of God spoken in faith from a believer’s mouth can change circumstances. We may experience negative facts in our lives but God’s Word is truth and truth is more powerful than facts.

During the struggling moment of my life, God has spoken to me and all I need to do is to believe what He has said. His Word is loaded with promises that are for anyone who will believe them and act accordingly. Just as you may have, I had set of unpleasant facts in my life. During my childhood I had been physically and mentally badly abused. I was emotionally wounded and experienced various personality disorders as a result of enduring a very dysfunctional life. I had sour attitude, a chip on my shoulder and was filled with bitterness and un-forgiveness. But Jesus came into my life, and I learned to faithfully believe in His Word.  By faith I draw the bloodline of Jesus Christ across my life and boldly declare that I am healed from the pains and wounds of my pasts. I have been set free to live a new life of wholeness. I continue to praise the Lord and confess His Word over myself, claiming His forgiveness, cleansing and healing every day. I stopped blaming my biological father for what’s happening in our lives and  I started to forgive Him. I stopped blaming myself and feeling unworthy and unloved. Instead I begun to say ‘’ If God is for me, who can be against me?’’  And today I am free from all those things that were definitely negative facts years ago because I know for sure that I am walking in a way where God’s presence and power is abiding me. God who is all-powerful and all-knowing lives within me.

God compares His Word to seed. When we plant the seed by speaking it, praying it, believing it and acting upon it, it will produce what it says. God promise us that it will produce and it will change the darkness life into light. God will not only cover you, He will also bring you into a place in Him where the evil one can’t touch you. Psalm 5:11 says, ‘’ But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them that those who love your name may rejoice in you.’’ God is covering you so that you can survive anything and everything, if you just trust in Him and hold steadfast to His Word. Rejoice! for you’ve got heavenly protection from all your earthly foes! Praise the Lord for He turns the darkness into light. In Jesus name, Amen.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Everyday Life

‘’ Fulfilling God‘s Purpose ‘’

I was living a life that’s filled with woe.

I was holding onto sin that I can’t let go.

Then Jesus beseeches but I said No!

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

 ~*~

Jesus Christ for me has died.

On the cross was crucified.

But I didn’t make up my mind.

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

 ~*~

How many glitches will arise?

Before you finally realize

God meant every word He said.

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

 ~*~

In my sacred place I talk to Christ

I keep praying  on my own will sight

What massive gaffe do I have to yield?

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

 ~*~

Life on earth is very fast.

Opportunity will soon past.

Only what’s done for Christ will last.

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

~* ~

Until I realize I must give my all to Christ.

I said and pray ’’ Whatever you want Lord’’

Direct my steps and show me your way.

I saw His face smiling and said ”My child, follow my way”

I replied, I’ll take up my cross Lord and follow your purpose!

xoxo,

WE ARE CALLED TO BE DISCIPLES

Matthew 28: 19-20

19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Have you ever wondered about your purpose in life? Know that you have been called by God to teach others about who He is and what it means to follow Him. The commandment that Jesus gave to His disciples is an urgent call to all born-again Christians. One of my purpose why I blog is to spread the good news on how God changed my life. We need to be reminded that we are in the last days of our time on earth, and the kingdom of heaven is at hand. As Christians this is wonderful news. It means that we don’t have long to wait until that glorious day when we will see God and walk heaven’s streets of gold. It also means that our time is growing short to act on Jesus’ commandments to make disciples of all nations. We cannot delay any longer. Too many are at risk of dying without Jesus! We can no longer just sit within the walls of the church on Sunday mornings. We must step out in faith and spread the Gospel message in a great end-time harvest of souls.

Our job as believers is not to stay in, but to go out to a lost and hurting world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We can go out in confidence, knowing that God’s Holy Spirit is empowering US. God gave us the authority to do so, and has promised to not leave you on your own, but to be with you always. Ask God to show you where He wants you to go. To someone close to you, in your neighborhood, perhaps even in your own family. So that you can help others follow Him too. In order to follow Jesus, we must deny ourselves and lose sight of our own interests. We must continually and steadfastly cling to Jesus in every aspect of our lives. The only way to experience true happiness is to allow God to work through you to bless others.

Lord Protect My Nation

O heavenly Father, our Protector and Guide, You are the greatest friend and joy that we have. I come to you Lord to ask for your protection. It is not for me that I want to pray today, Dear Father, but for those who are near and dear to me and about whom I am worrying. You know what they are facing, dear Father. Almighty God, I raise my heart to You in gratefulness, for the wonders of creation of which we are part, for Your providence in sustaining us in our needs, and for Your wisdom that guides the course of the universe. I acknowledge our sins against You and the rest of your creation. We have not been good keepers of nature. We have tangled Your command to subdue the earth. And now we reap the harvest of our abuse and indifference. Global warming is upon us. Typhoons, flood and other natural calamities occur in the increasing number and intensity. We turn to you our loving Father, and beg for forgiveness for our shortcomings. We ask that we, our loved ones and our hard-earned possessions be spared from the threat of calamities, natural and man-made. Protect my fellow Filipinos from this calamity that they are facing today. Forgive them their sins and put love of others in their hearts. Lord, I deeply pray for the safety and protection of all people in the Philippines. Father lay your hands on them. May you give them strength and courage in times of this. May you shower your mercy upon them. Keep them safe from harm Oh God. I pray this prayer in the power of the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ Your one and only Son who died and rose again for remission of sin, I bind, rebuke and render powerless: all division, discord, disunity, strife, wrath, murder, criticism, condemnation, pride, envy, jealously, gossip, evil speaking, complaining, lying, false teaching, false gifts, false manifestations, lying signs and wonders, poverty, fear of lack, witchcraft spirits, spirits of antichrist and all familiar and territorial spirits. I claim a hedge of protection, by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. Amen

Blog Tag Game ”Tagged Your It”

I was tagged by Penny  for a game of “blog tag” just this morning. She is one of my followers and I am also her follower too. Her blog is very insightful. Go check and copy this link http://thewhyaboutthis.com/ to your browser if you want to know more about my sweet friend Penny.  It’s not a contest or a challenge that will give you a prizes, it’s just for fun, fun, fun! 😉

The rules of the tagging game are:

Post rules

Answer the questions set for you in their post

Then it’s your turn to “tag” 11 people with a link to your post

Let them know they’ve been tagged

Create 11 new questions or use the same ones to ask the people you’ve tagged.

So the following are the questions  was asked by Penny along with my answers.

  1. Who do you think is the greatest human that ever lived? Well for me, Jesus Christ is the greatest human that ever lived. He died to save us from sin. Nobody does that except Him. Who do you think will crucify himself/herself  just to save you?
  2. If you could live anywhere else, where would it be? I would want to live in Davao. As what I’ve said to my previous post ‘’Davao City is the place I called my second home.’’
  3. What is your favorite song? There’s a lot! But  ”Right Here Waiting” is my favorite song in the world, mainly because it’s lyrics are too HONEST and MEANINGFUL 😉
  4. Would you prefer a dog or a cat as a pet? I think dogs are the most amazing pet; they give unconditional love and they are always there to protect you. For me they are the role model for being alive.
  5.  If you could have any one wish come true what would it be?  I have so so many wish, Right now I wish not only  for myself but for everybody  reading this. ‘’I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow, And each road leads you where you want to go, And if you’re faced with a choice, and you have to choose, I hope you choose the one that means the most to you. And if one door opens to another door closed, I hope you keep on walkin’ till you find the window, If it’s cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile, But more than anything, more than anything, My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to, Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small.’’- taken from My Wish lyrics by Rascal Flatts
  6. And why? Because all of us deserves to be HAPPY!
  7. Do you prefer hot or cold weather? I prefer to have a tropical weather. Just like what we have in the Philippines.
  8. Why do you blog? Blogging  is an easy solution for an online journal or diary. Sharing thoughts, ideas and travels are a breeze with your own blog. Documenting difficult or satisfying experiences, whether for you or to share with others, can be managed with ease on a blog. Therefore, blogging is  an easy way to express yourself.
  9. Do you live in the city or the countryside? Right now I live in the countryside quite big but a  peaceful city to live.
  10. Would people consider you a happy person? I really don’t know if people will consider me as a happy person. Me seeing myself, Yes! I do consider myself as a happy person. Failures and problems do come but we should know how to handle it. We should not  let sadness prevail in our emotions because it is not good for our health.
  11. Do you think you are a good person? Only God can tell that. I don’t want to assume that I am a good person because people do make mistakes. I’m trying to be a good person or to be a better kind of being in God’s eye.

Day 7 – A picture of somewhere you’d love to travel

ISRAEL

If given a chance, I would love to go to God’s chosen land. I really want to be blessed to see the places where Jesus walked, preached and ministered.

Day 4 – A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

It’s so hard to tell  because there have been seasons where I’ve been really close to people. FB PM’s, Twitter DM’s, Skyping, Call or text every day, share stuffs and everything. I am also close to my family, relatives, and friends and to other people. But I guess if I had to choose based on closeness and how and what I have shared, it’d have to be JESUS CHRIST. He  is my one and only closest best and best friend ever since birth. Mama passed away when I was just a toddler and  He’s the only one who’ve help me,  gave me hope and courage to continue my journey here on earth.  He knows my heart; He knows what’s inside of it. He knows my future and He knows my entire life. He lift me up when I’m feeling down, He was always there for me when I needed HIM and He will always be.  I am happy and blessed that He is in my life.

Life is Good because God is Good

Suffering? that is our own decision. We make our own decisions, yet we blame on God because our hearts are torn. We allow our heart to tear, we allow ourselves to fall. It is not that we love God, it is that He LOVED us. God Loved us enough to take our place, our shame and our guilt.

When life gets tough, God is opening your eyes, to trust him, to love him. We wont understand, but that’s where Faith comes in.

It’s time to be fashioned by fire and come awake! God is calling you today, are you willing?

Don’t think ahead and don’t think behind.

”Quiet yourself and hear his voice.”

”Trials are not pleasant, but then again this life is not the life we are meant to enjoy. We are meant to count our blessings though and be thankful that the Lord blesses us so richly” The world we live in is full of broken promises. It is a frightening, ever-changing world that the Bible says is passing away. Nothing in this world is constant. If you have your trust in temporal things like money and possessions, you will realize nothing is certain. The Lord Jesus Christ is faithful. Hebrews 13:8 promises that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”  You can count on the rock-solid promises of God. When things in this life change, remind yourself that our God does not change. God is faithful to save. God is faithful to provide for us. He is faithful to protect us and hold onto us even when we try to run from Him.
