Letter to my brother in Christ

Dear Kuya,Image

10th of May 2013, It was raining that morning. I sat at the kitchen table with a cuppa, find you on fb and there I met you. I’m staring blankly at the headlines of a paper, remembering the dream start to fill the line though they did not make the leap into my mind; only one thought held dominion there. Oh what an angel sent to me from somewhere up above heaven or what have you our friendship was perfect. One thing is certain, I knew you were sent from heaven.

Until 23rd Wednesday of May we grew apart… it seems things are never as perfect as they might appear at the start… I keep you friend tucked soundly in my mind, buried deep inside where only I can hear them. Somewhere in the future I’ll see you then.

P.S: I write about you, because that’s what my heart wishes for.

xoxo,
Nizy

There is a time for everything!

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

There is a time for everything,

and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to plant and a time to uproot,

a time to kill and a time to heal,

a time to tear down and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh,

a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,

a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

a time to search and a time to give up,

a time to keep and a time to throw away,

a time to tear and a time to mend,

a time to be silent and a time to speak,

a time to love and a time to hate,

a time for war and a time for peace.

Are We Living in the Last Days?

‎2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

~*~

Revelation 20:2-5

And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.

~*~

Revelation 19:11-16

Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.

~*~

Matthew 24:24

For false Christ’s and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

~*~

Daniel 7:25

He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time.

~*~

1 John 4:3

And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.

~*~

1 John 2:18

Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that Antichrist is coming, so now many Antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour.

Behold! The signs of the times are visible all around us. The HOUR is certainly coming!

I made her… She is different, She is unique,

With love I formed in her mother’s womb, I fashioned her with great joy.

I remember, with great pleasure, the day I created her.

Psalm 139:13-16

I love her smile, I love her ways,

I love to hear her laugh,

And the silly things she says and does.

She brings Me great pleasure. This is how I made her.

Psalm 139:17

I made her heart beautiful

I wanted her to search out her heart,

And to learn that it would be Me in her

That would make her beautiful…

And it would be Me in her that would draw friends to her.

1 Peter 3:3-5

I made her in such a way, that she would need Me.

I made her a little more lonesome than she would like to be…

Only because I need for her to lean and depend on Me…

I know her heart, I know if I had not made her like this,

She would go her own chosen way

And forget Me… her Creator.

Psalm 62:5-8

I have given her many good and happy things

Because I love her.

Psalm 84:11, Romans 8:23

Because I love her,

I have seen her broken heart…

And the tears she cried alone.

I have cried with her, and had a broken heart too.

Psalm 56:8

Many times, she has stumbled

And fallen alone

Only because she would not hold My Hand,

So many lessons she’s learned the hard way.

Because she would not listen to My voice…

Isaiah 53:6

So many times I have sat back

And sadly watched her go her merry way alone.

Only to watch her return to My arms, sad and broken.

Isaiah 62:2

I have to reshape her and remold her…

To renew her to what I had planned for her to be.

It has not been easy for her,

Or for Me.

Jeremiah 29:11

I want her to be conformed to My Image…

This is the high goal I have set for her,

Because I love her.

2 Corinthians 2:14

“I have been crucified in CHRIST; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

It is as important to read the Word of God as it is to eat. Without this simple act, each day of our life would be incomplete. A day spent without reading His Word is truly a day wasted. No matter what you are going through or what you are facing, the Bible has a solution for you. The Bible is truly the answer for every need you may have.

Jeremiah  17:9 has taught me that our hearts are deceitful above all things. Self-deception is one of the easiest traps of the enemy that we can fall into. The self always help the self-get whatever it wants. When we have strong desire for something, we can easily deceive ourselves by telling ourselves whatever we want to hear. If my will want a thing, my mind will give me a variety of reasons I should have it and my emotions will certainly produce ample feelings that agree with my will’s wants. That’s what happening to me last few weeks which lead me to illness. I forgot the Word of God. I forgot His promise, but I believe that through this illness God is shaping me into a beautiful vessel, perfectly designed for the great purposes He has for my life.

When we manage our relationship with Christ, the Bible tells us that we become new creations. We become new spiritual clay for the Holy Spirit to work with. So I practice regular times of waiting in God’s presence, asking Him to reveal any impure motives that I might have. Praying against deception, for Satan is the great deceiver. Satan also seeks to lead us astray through reasoning that is contrary to the truth. So I hold my peace and remain at rest. God can easily lead the believer who is not frustrated and anxious. I learned to pray as David in Psalm 51 ‘’ Behold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart. The more you truly know God’s wisdom in your heart, the less likely you are to be deceived. ” Happy Sunday Everyone and May God Bless Us All.

This is what I am up to today. Studying the Word of God. Digging much deeper into my relationship with God through His Word. How about you? What are you up to?

“Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.” Isaiah 50:10.

Do you see weary people in the body of Christ? While the world has serious problems that can wear us down, we can experience joy from God, Who lifts us up. According to the Bible, the joy of the Lord is our strength. Take your stand on the Word of God. Become rooted and grounded, not in shame, discouragement and dishonor but in the LOVE of Christ, being complete in Him. Ask the Lord to work a healing in your mind, will and emotions. Let Him come in and fulfill what He came to do: Heal your broken heart, bind up your wounds, and give you beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, a garment of praise instead of heaviness and a double honor for a double shame.  Determine that from this moment on you are going to reject the roots of bitterness, shame, negativism, and perfectionism and nourish the roots of joy, peace love and power. God’s Word is filled with inherent power. When God speaks, powerful things take place. His Word never returns void; it always accomplishes its purpose. When we learn to speak God’s Word instead of rehearsing how we feel or declaring what we think, we are also releasing power. The Word of God spoken in faith from a believer’s mouth can change circumstances. We may experience negative facts in our lives but God’s Word is truth and truth is more powerful than facts.

During the struggling moment of my life, God has spoken to me and all I need to do is to believe what He has said. His Word is loaded with promises that are for anyone who will believe them and act accordingly. Just as you may have, I had set of unpleasant facts in my life. During my childhood I had been physically and mentally badly abused. I was emotionally wounded and experienced various personality disorders as a result of enduring a very dysfunctional life. I had sour attitude, a chip on my shoulder and was filled with bitterness and un-forgiveness. But Jesus came into my life, and I learned to faithfully believe in His Word.  By faith I draw the bloodline of Jesus Christ across my life and boldly declare that I am healed from the pains and wounds of my pasts. I have been set free to live a new life of wholeness. I continue to praise the Lord and confess His Word over myself, claiming His forgiveness, cleansing and healing every day. I stopped blaming my biological father for what’s happening in our lives and  I started to forgive Him. I stopped blaming myself and feeling unworthy and unloved. Instead I begun to say ‘’ If God is for me, who can be against me?’’  And today I am free from all those things that were definitely negative facts years ago because I know for sure that I am walking in a way where God’s presence and power is abiding me. God who is all-powerful and all-knowing lives within me.

God compares His Word to seed. When we plant the seed by speaking it, praying it, believing it and acting upon it, it will produce what it says. God promise us that it will produce and it will change the darkness life into light. God will not only cover you, He will also bring you into a place in Him where the evil one can’t touch you. Psalm 5:11 says, ‘’ But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them that those who love your name may rejoice in you.’’ God is covering you so that you can survive anything and everything, if you just trust in Him and hold steadfast to His Word. Rejoice! for you’ve got heavenly protection from all your earthly foes! Praise the Lord for He turns the darkness into light. In Jesus name, Amen.

Day 50 – A movie that always makes you cry

Passion of the Christ

This movie made me cry and question myself if I am worthy of His LOVE. I salute Mel Gibson for his audacity. The movie brought a reality that is lacking in most people’s perception of what Jesus went through in order to redeem mankind. It was the greatest movie ever made about the suffering and death of God’s Holy Son for the sins of humanity. The movie was well done! Arghhhhhhhhhhhh! My tears start falling down my cheeks.

John 3:16 ” For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.- Colossians 3:15-17

My Solitude with Christ

Imagining  myself in the place of Jesus, lying there in the house where I feel safe, comforted, loved and accepted. Picturing  how much harder the decision to leave would have been if Jesus had ignored that restless  so during my solitude I usually “Get up and go out or lock my room to pray fervently  ”  and in the midst of my solitude, God is calling.

” Today, I’m not anti-social.  I’m just enjoying my solitude.”

‘’ Fulfilling God‘s Purpose ‘’

I was living a life that’s filled with woe.

I was holding onto sin that I can’t let go.

Then Jesus beseeches but I said No!

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

 ~*~

Jesus Christ for me has died.

On the cross was crucified.

But I didn’t make up my mind.

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

 ~*~

How many glitches will arise?

Before you finally realize

God meant every word He said.

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

 ~*~

In my sacred place I talk to Christ

I keep praying  on my own will sight

What massive gaffe do I have to yield?

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

 ~*~

Life on earth is very fast.

Opportunity will soon past.

Only what’s done for Christ will last.

I said to myself, what will it take?

Nizy, please be awake!

~* ~

Until I realize I must give my all to Christ.

I said and pray ’’ Whatever you want Lord’’

Direct my steps and show me your way.

I saw His face smiling and said ”My child, follow my way”

I replied, I’ll take up my cross Lord and follow your purpose!

Prayer for Strength

Psalm 112

Praise the Lord.

Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
who find great delight in his commands.

Their children will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches are in their houses,
and their righteousness endures forever.
Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,
for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
who conduct their affairs with justice.

Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
they will be remembered forever.
They will have no fear of bad news;
their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;
in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.
They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,
their righteousness endures forever;
their horn will be lifted high in honor.

10 The wicked will see and be vexed,
they will gnash their teeth and waste away;
the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.

Our hope is in You Heavenly Father!

We lift everything to You Jehovah,

through Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen
