Lord Protect My Nation


O heavenly Father, our Protector and Guide, You are the greatest friend and joy that we have. I come to you Lord to ask for your protection. It is not for me that I want to pray today, Dear Father, but for those who are near and dear to me and about whom I am worrying. You know what they are facing, dear Father. Almighty God, I raise my heart to You in gratefulness, for the wonders of creation of which we are part, for Your providence in sustaining us in our needs, and for Your wisdom that guides the course of the universe. I acknowledge our sins against You and the rest of your creation. We have not been good keepers of nature. We have tangled Your command to subdue the earth. And now we reap the harvest of our abuse and indifference. Global warming is upon us. Typhoons, flood and other natural calamities occur in the increasing number and intensity. We turn to you our loving Father, and beg for forgiveness for our shortcomings. We ask that we, our loved ones and our hard-earned possessions be spared from the threat of calamities, natural and man-made. Protect my fellow Filipinos from this calamity that they are facing today. Forgive them their sins and put love of others in their hearts. Lord, I deeply pray for the safety and protection of all people in the Philippines. Father lay your hands on them. May you give them strength and courage in times of this. May you shower your mercy upon them. Keep them safe from harm Oh God. I pray this prayer in the power of the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ Your one and only Son who died and rose again for remission of sin, I bind, rebuke and render powerless: all division, discord, disunity, strife, wrath, murder, criticism, condemnation, pride, envy, jealously, gossip, evil speaking, complaining, lying, false teaching, false gifts, false manifestations, lying signs and wonders, poverty, fear of lack, witchcraft spirits, spirits of antichrist and all familiar and territorial spirits. I claim a hedge of protection, by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. Amen

Camiguin is a small Island north of Mindanao. It is  the smallest province in the Philippines with 7 active volcanoes, several waterfalls, a sunken cemetery, and a circumferential road that is only 64km long. The island-province of Camiguin is a picturesque of a calm and peaceful place that is abundant with natural resources. This charming province in Mindanao is a perfect getaway for those who want to keep in touch with Mother Earth as well as those who want to spend romantic moments with their loved ones. Camiguin is a pear-shaped island that is also well known as the Volcanic Island of the Philippines because it has seven volcanoes, the famous for which is the Mt. Hibok-hibok.  According to experts, Camiguin Island was formed out by these volcanic eruptions and land mass movements. Because tonight I received not just one but two awards. How about that? God is truly wonderful. I am really want to thank ‘’Grandmother Musings’’ for another blessing tonight.  I just don’t like but love her blog and read it every day. 1.I am a funny silly Nizy.  I am a very open laid back woman, easy going….I don’t get upset easily…..pretty calm and level headed. I get on well with people I like so long as they like me, if they don’t like me then no problem.

When we think about America, the first thing to come to mind is that it is a rich country. It is a great country- you like America because it is a land of opportunity. America gives you many plausibility that you cannot find anywhere else. No one can deny that the USAis the most powerful nation in the world, and the most influential as well. And everybody knows that it is the land of freedom and democracy.The greatness of this country is the result of the efforts of the entire American nation. Many Americans are intelligent, hardworking, and ambitious. What we don’t realize that America is also filled with lots of rapists, murderers, homicide’s, poverty, and discrimination. Lets not forget everybody’s favorite – Racists. I watched the Daystar channel today and saw ministries voluntarily feed hungry people with their mission ”AMERICANS FEEDING AMERICANS.” This Caravan has helped provide food and essentials to hurting military and American families coast to coast .The economic downturn has affected millions of Americans. It gives me a view that America is not always a bed of roses.




On the contrary, there are loving and caring people with determination to help others. America may have its flaws, but there’s still nowhere else in the world better to live in than the U.S. When it comes to politics, corruption in America is not as widespread as the other countries. So the great thing about this country is that it can be home to anyone because its so diverse and everyone is treated equally and fairly. Most people are very nice and friendly. America does have it’s problems but what country doesn’t? For the six months of living here, America seems to be a beautiful country and the people are very friendly when compared to other parts of the world. Ofcourse, everyone has good and bad in them and no one is perfect.

  1. Who do you think is the greatest human that ever lived? Well for me, Jesus Christ is the greatest human that ever lived. He died to save us from sin. Nobody does that except Him. Who do you think will crucify himself/herself  just to save you?

  2. If you could live anywhere else, where would it be? I would want to live in Davao. As what I’ve said to my previous post ‘’Davao City is the place I called my second home.’’

  3. What is your favorite song? There’s a lot! But  ”Right Here Waiting” is my favorite song in the world, mainly because it’s lyrics are too HONEST and MEANINGFUL 😉

  4. Would you prefer a dog or a cat as a pet? I think dogs are the most amazing pet; they give unconditional love and they are always there to protect you. For me they are the role model for being alive.

  7. Do you prefer hot or cold weather? I prefer to have a tropical weather. Just like what we have in the Philippines.

  8. Why do you blog? Blogging  is an easy solution for an online journal or diary. Sharing thoughts, ideas and travels are a breeze with your own blog. Documenting difficult or satisfying experiences, whether for you or to share with others, can be managed with ease on a blog. Therefore, blogging is  an easy way to express yourself.

  9. Do you live in the city or the countryside? Right now I live in the countryside quite big but a  peaceful city to live.

  10. Would people consider you a happy person? I really don’t know if people will consider me as a happy person. Me seeing myself, Yes! I do consider myself as a happy person. Failures and problems do come but we should know how to handle it. We should not  let sadness prevail in our emotions because it is not good for our health.

  11. Do you think you are a good person? Only God can tell that. I don’t want to assume that I am a good person because people do make mistakes. I’m trying to be a good person or to be a better kind of being in God’s eye.

Now the light has gone away Father God listen to me while I pray.  I adore you, my Holy God, and I love you with all my heart. I thank you for having created me, for having made me a Christian, and for having preserved me this day. Pardon me for my wrongdoings today. If I have done anything good, be pleased to accept it Oh Lord. Protect me while I take my rest and deliver me from all dangers. May your grace be always with me and may your guidance be with my friends, relatives and family. Bless and protect the Philippines and  United States , protect your people all around the world. Our loving and most gracious God, Please bless and guard your Israel, guide and protect  your children who live there. Our God, the life of all who live, the light of all the faithful, the strength of those who labor, I thank you for all the blessings and I humbly ask for your protection and guidance though the coming night. As I behold the beauty of His creation, I cannot help but to praise Him. I cannot help but bow my head and humbly thank Him, thank Him that He acknowledge me to be part of His great creation. I thank Him everyday for this amazing world He gave us. I love exploring out into nature; feeling the breeze, hiking in it, swimming in it, and just generally enjoying it. God is the ultimate artist and His art is all around us; in the trees, the stars, the clouds, the sunsets, the list is infinite. Thank you once again Heavenly Father!
